This brownie recipe is a very simple recipe, it’s not too many ingredients. So you can flip this up pretty quickly and it’s just absolutely lovely to serve but not least eat. My kids love these brownies here, they always end up running while they eat. While I, as a mother, always end up shouting after not having to run while eating, MOMMY LIFE.
But they are, as I said, very easy to make, you do not need many ingredients and you can serve them at any time, if you have friends visiting or for a birthday or if you want to drown your griefs with chocolate. It often happens too!
You spend a total of 30 minutes on these delicious brownies here.
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup coca powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Here’s what you do:
Preheat oven to 175 ° C / 347 ° F
Add in a bowl the eggs, melt the butter and sugar, and whisk well for about 3 minutes.
Then add flour, cocoa powder, vanilla powder, salt and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined (don’t over beat as doing so well affect the texture of your brownies).
Lightly grease in 20 cm / 8 inch square baking pan with cooking oil. Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, or until the center of the brownies in the pan no longer jiggles and is just set to the touch (the brownies will keep baking in the hot pan out of the oven) You can also test with a toothpick, the toothpick should come out dirty if you want a fudge-textured brownies. Remove and allow to cool to room temperature before slicing the brownies.
