Beef stew with potatoes

I’m a big fan of dinners I can whip up fast, whether it be cooking everything in a cooking pot or baking everything in a baking pan. Then that’s a big YES on my part. Everything from the fact that it is much easier to relate to just doing one thing instead of more things to that there is less washing afterwards. This dinner here is incredibly good, everything from the juicy steak that melts in your mouth, to the vegetables and the juicy sauce that taste incredibly delicious.

I spend about 1 hour and 15 minutes in total in this delicious dinner dish here.

You need:

  • 500 grams/ 1.1 pound of beef slices
  • 2 spring onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 green long peppers
  • just over 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 5 deciliters/ 2.1 cup of water
  • spices: black pepper, paprika powder, food mix spices, parsley powder.

Here’s what you do:

Start by adding a little oil in a cooking pot, and finely chop the spring onion, then allow the spring onion to brown a little before adding the steak slices. Add the spice and cook for a few minutes. Finely chop the garlic, bell peppers, carrots and add it to the pan. Peel and wash the potatoes before adding the potatoes to the cooking pot. Then add the water and simmer for about 1 hour, during the cooking time you stir regularly. You should get a thick sauce at the end of the cooking time.

Before 1 hour has passed, you also add 4 tomatoes that are divided into 4. Then cook for 10 minutes before dinner is done.
