Beef is something I love to make, in this beef dish here I spend a little longer cooking the meat, but you get the most tender steak, the onion gives a lovely taste.
I spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes on this lovely dish here.
- 500 grams/ 1,1 pound of beef
- 1 and half onions
- 4 medium sized potatoes
- 200 grams/ 7 oz of broccoli
- 4 tablespoons of sour cream
- cracked cheese
- black pepper
- parsley powder
This is what you do:
You start with the steak first, as the steak needs to cook slowly for a little longer than 1 hour. Start by cutting the onion, add a little food oil in a saucepan, then add the onion and let it get a little color. Then add the steak to the kettle and add salt, black pepper, parsley powder and some water. Put lid on and let it cook slowly, stirring and adding more water if needed. The steak is cooked through.
You can wrap the potato in foil and bake in the oven for about 30 to 45 minutes.
I fry the broccoli in oil in the pan for a few minutes adding salt and black pepper to taste.
When the steak is done, take the potatoes, remove the foil completely or halfway. Take the knife and divide the potato in the middle, add a tablespoon of sour cream in each potato and add the broccoli and cracked cheese on top.
