Homemade chicken pizza

What is the definition of a pizza and where does it originate? This question has created much debate and disagreement among historians. Some emphasize that it was not only Italians who made pizza, but also the Greeks made flat bread with various ingredients in the 700’s. Others believe the very first pizza that was documented in Naples cannot be considered a real pizza as it was a so-called “white pizza”, without tomato sauce. What we know for sure is that the word “pizza” began to become widely known in Naples in the 17th century and from that time on, the world has never been the same.

I use that approx. 60 min on this dish.

You need:

Pizza Dough:
50 grams of yeast
5 deciliters of lukewarm water
4 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon salt
about. 14 deciliters of wheat flour

Filling:
6 chicken fillets in strips
2 red peppers
150 grams of mushrooms
salt and pepper
about. 400 g mozzarella
75 grams of ruccula
20 red cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons pine nuts
4 tablespoons pasta sauce

This is what you do: Stir the yeast into finger-warm water (37 ° C) and add oil, salt and wheat flour. Knead the dough well. Let it raise approx. 1/2 hour.

Fry the chicken strips and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Spread the pasta sauce over the pizza base. Divide mozzarella cheese into slices (you can also use cracked cheese), paprika, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in half. Spread the filling over the bottom.

Cook in the oven at 225 ° C for 15-20 minutes.
